I would not put it that way of course (dumb down for white folks). I am just saying I grew up with Indian food in India, so I feel I am qualified to say that it is good.
I really like the restaurant and the people are very nice. And, many of them even know how to use the present participle (!).

Too bad Clay Oven is the home of the second worst meal I've ever had in SF. (The first was at Mel's Diner on Van Ness)
The Clay Oven has good food! Um, I am Indian so I know.
I wonder if they "dumb down" the food for white folks. I have eaten there twice, and each time the food has been so bland, almost flavorless.
