Theft -- 9:32pm. 300 block 29th St Officer Otaguro responded to a report of a theft. The victim told the officer that she discovered that her lemon trees had been stolen out of their pots in front of her house. The victim said she last saw the lemon trees on the afternoon of 8/14/09.
This better not be a desperate attempt to gain favor with the Noe Valley Exchange.

that is weird that they only took the plant, not the plant with their pots.

It's been a couple years, but we had a series of plant thefts from our front porch on Dolores - pointsettias stolen, pots left behind. (and they had to come in the gate up the stairs to the front door to do it - bold!)
So weird. And grinchlike. I wished them coal in their stocking.

This is a serious problem. It is on going and a big nuisance. Call 911 if you see this crime in progress. And put a stop to this nonsense.

This happens in my 'hood all the time (just beyond NV...used to be a resident). It's most likely "landscapers" saving money on cost of goods.
