Is This Your Lost Cat on Vicksburg?

A concerned neighbor and good Samaritan emailed us this item:
We found an injured grayish/brownish male tabby cat on the sidewalk in front of our house on Vicksburg Street (something was wrong with his back legs, he couldn't walk). A neighbor brought him to Animal Care, where he is being cared for.

The phone number at Animal Care is 554.6364 and his ID number at the shelter is A345506.  He does not have a chip. He seems like a really sweet cat.
Help get the word out and let's get this kitty home!

Lost Cat: Stolen?

A beautiful and obviously much-loved cat is missing, but according to the poster it appears to have been stolen - her collar was found near Skyline College! With luck, a vet will query the microchip if the perps bring her in. Meanwhile, if you have any helpful info please contact the people listed on the flyer.

Did You Lose A Little White Cat?

A reader writes:
Some neighbors found a young, totally white cat wandering around 25th and Noe Sts. It seems as though the cat was a house cat and may be missing. One of the individuals took the cat in, as it seemed somewhat scared.
I don't know the individual who took the cat in, but perhaps you can direct your readers to put up signs on 25th St. (b/t Noe and Castro) if they're missing a cat.

Happy Ending: Lost Cat Found

Curious what happens to the cats and dogs (and snakes) posted as missing? We sure are! This is the first time we can recall seeing an update. Most people just leave the "Lost Pet" signs up until they rot off, leaving the rest of us to wonder what happened. This Jersey Street resident gave the neighborhood a bit more:
Dear Noe Valley Residents:

In case you were ever wondering, we live in a very special place. Thank you all for your well wishes and calls about Nyles. A neighbor contacted me last night and he has returned safely home. Thanks again for all your support! I feel fortunate to live in such a wonderful community. Enjoy the sunshine!
