Found: Razor Scooter

Bruce Ponte let us know: "This razor scooter complete with helmet was left inside Cafe Ponte about 2 weeks ago. I can't believe no one has come by looking for it. If not claimed we may hold a raffle for it." Make sure you can identify the type of helmet.

Found: Lambchop

I don't know if you can help, but we found a stuffed animal lamb on 24th Street earlier tonight (8/12). The lamb looks to be very well loved by someone.
If a little one in your house couldn't sleep last night and this looks familiar, send us an email and we'll put you in touch with the good Samaritan holding Lambchop ransom.

Update (8/16): Lamb and child have been reunited. Thanks to everyone for sending in tips.

Happy Ending: Lost Cat Found

Curious what happens to the cats and dogs (and snakes) posted as missing? We sure are! This is the first time we can recall seeing an update. Most people just leave the "Lost Pet" signs up until they rot off, leaving the rest of us to wonder what happened. This Jersey Street resident gave the neighborhood a bit more:
Dear Noe Valley Residents:

In case you were ever wondering, we live in a very special place. Thank you all for your well wishes and calls about Nyles. A neighbor contacted me last night and he has returned safely home. Thanks again for all your support! I feel fortunate to live in such a wonderful community. Enjoy the sunshine!

Help! Lost iPod

Deborah needs your help, kind citizen:
I left my house today on Cesar Chavez around 10:30 or so and as usual could hear the J about halfway down the block. So, as usual, I started to run. I made the J and when I sat down say the headphones of my ipod dangled from my bag - but no ipod. Somewhere along my sprint from Cesar Chavez past Chloes's to the stop in front of Fattoush on Church my ipod was lost. Realizing this, I got off the J at 24th and walked back down retracing my steps. No ipod. I want to believe that some good person in the neighborhood picked it up and if only they knew how to reach me, they would return my ipod.
