Today's LA Times has a charming item on Noe Valley resident Larry Jacobson - a member of the Never Miss a Super Bowl Club. According to the newspaper, the 71-year old former math teacher has been to all 44 games, starting with the NFL showcase event in 1967 at the Coliseum. He'll also be featured in a national ad campaign promoting Visa's "Super Bowl Trip for Life" sweepstakes - so you may see him on TV these days too.
