Rumor has it that the second edition of a Community Meeting to discuss a plaza/parklet and 24th/Noe the on June 23rd has been cancelled because "St Philip's double booked the room and gave preference to the Noe Valley Democratic Club," according to a source.

Anyway, the new meeting date is June 30th. For now. Confirmed by St Philips.
Just as well, I'll be celebrating on June 22 and June 23 might have been a rough one.

Nominal wager, we'll both enjoy the tasty treat outside no matter what, won't break the bank, and one rule only - no politics or religion, plaza/parklet is both so that's verboten.

How telling that the Anonymous anti-plaza poster immediately above assumes everyone else wants a public plaza but isn't willing to accept one themselves.

Since there won't be a plaza, but there may be a parklet, how does that make sense? I don't get it.
