RE: photo of 43 Roosevelt on Castro St in 1966….I lived on Sacramento St in 1969 - the 55 Sacramento used the same type of green GM coach. I lived between Taylor and Jones, also steep like the block between 24th and Elizabeth shown in the photo. Those diesel spewing coaches sounded like a DC 3 trying to take off going uphill.
