More from Swatdee:
After 26 wonderful years in Noe Valley, Swatdee Thai Cuisine will close its doors on November 30th. We would very much like to thank each and every one of you for your love and support over the past two decades. It will be one of the toughest things to do, but we are more than excited to start a new chapter in our lives. Many memories have been made and we are very grateful to have been a part of your lives, as you were a huge part of ours.
Thank you.

Shame, because these folks were always so nice, all of them.
My sense is that the nearby competition, Rin's, went from being a distant second to a very strong player and the local Noe crowd couldn't sustain both.
I tried to support both but found myself calling on Rin's more recently.
Again, sorry to see them go & wish the family well.
We LOVE Swatdee and are so sorry to see them go! Best Thai food in Noe, hands down.
I'm so sad to see them go, what a nice family. another thing in Noe Valley is gone
And yes, something NEW will arrive in Noe Valley. Change is constant and change is good.
Nooo!!! We'll miss you!! We loved your soup and noodles and kindness.. Jimmy and the gang we hope that you enjoy the next chapter of your lives!
This place had the friendliest service and the best yellow curry. I know change is forever upon us, but this is a bummer. I wish the best to the owners in their new ventures.
