Tidbits

Noe Farm Report posted the above image of Andiamo Gourmet Deli. Apparently it's for sale after more than 20 years of business. Is there anywhere else in Noe Valley to get a meatball sandwich?

Noe Farm Report also visited Elizabeth Street Brewery. Neighborliness ensues.

Another Noe blogger: Sarah Roos writes Urban Miracles - "Seeking the authentic heart of the land and people we call home."

GirlBiz is returning to Bernie's this Saturday (May 2) from 10am-2pm for a Mother's Day event. Free espresso with purchase.

Finally, a reminder that the Noe Valley Farmer's Market is launching a second weekly market next Tuesday in front of the future Whole Foods from 3:00-7:00pm.

Yeah, uh, Sub's Inc...which is actually open at normal hours (sorry, I just could never understand Andiamo's randomness on when they're open).

  2. Subs Inc actually has a pretty good meatball sandwich. And you can buy meatballs and bread at Pasta Gina if you feel so inclined to make your own.

  3. There is also a place next to Rabat? that has delish sandos and they serve gyros, etc. too. Really good fries and the couple that runs it is really nice.

This Andiamos place looked suspect to me. I would pass it and wonder if it was ever open.

  4. @ #3 - Yep, it's called Noe Valley Deli. Great sandwiches. I go there at least once a week.

I actually found the owner a little gruff at first, but now that he knows me, we're tight.
