Rumor has it that the second edition of a Community Meeting to discuss a plaza/parklet and 24th/Noe the on June 23rd has been cancelled because "St Philip's double booked the room and gave preference to the Noe Valley Democratic Club," according to a source.
Stay tuned.
wow, bad planning by the planning dept.
ReplyDeleteUm, you mean bad planning by the church?
ReplyDeleteNo, the church is infallible.
ReplyDeleteThose damn democrats
ReplyDeleteAnd they (NVDC) put out a bunch of litter this weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the new meeting date is June 30th. For now. Confirmed by St Philips.
Just as well, I'll be celebrating on June 22 and June 23 might have been a rough one.
How blatantly anti-democratic of the democratic club, in case anyone is missing the obvious here...
ReplyDeleteAwesome, I'll be out of town on June 30th... damn weddings.
ReplyDeletemurphstahoe, would you care to represent my position? ;)
give it up folks. enjoy your parklets.
ReplyDeleteThe street is not closing.
Ever.
I'll bet you an Ice Cream, to be enjoyed in either a parklet or plaza.
ReplyDeleteNominal wager, we'll both enjoy the tasty treat outside no matter what, won't break the bank, and one rule only - no politics or religion, plaza/parklet is both so that's verboten.
TA - I'll buy you an Ice Cream no matter what.
and by the way - the meeting is at 7:30 PM. For now.
ReplyDeleteHow telling that the Anonymous anti-plaza poster immediately above assumes everyone else wants a public plaza but isn't willing to accept one themselves.
ReplyDeleteYawn, on the old-time superiority complex. See you at the plaza!
@murph: I'm not sure I get your wager.
ReplyDeleteSince there won't be a plaza, but there may be a parklet, how does that make sense? I don't get it.
But I'll take you up on it. Bi-rite ice cream only, two scoops, dish, no cone..
and no fixies.:)
I'll buy Ice Cream either way and hand it to the first person whose name I don't know.
