The Noe Valley Blog comments section - where rich white people go to complain about rich white people complaining about even richer white people moving in.
Great. Now we get to replace drones wearing Google hats / visors / tshirts / fleeces with drones wearing Twitter hats / visors / tshirts / fleeces. San Francisco is so wonderfully diverse.
Please note! If you are broadcasting via Twitter (or Facebook for that matter) what you think of the sandwich you just ate, or what your particular mood is, or whether or not you liked "District 9," then you are in a fantasyworld in which your every thought is grandly important. You should stay there as long as possible because the real world will crush your spirit.
Yes! Noe Valley needs more pretentious rich folks that are oblivious when they bump you with their strollers on the sidewalk or Whole Foods. Aren't they entitled?
Good point - its probably better to have cranky "old timers" who do nothing but tell stories about how great Noe was in the old days before god forbid, "breeders" came to Noe Valley. Even worse, they actually wanted a good grocery story, not that piece of junk that used to be Bell Foods.
what a bunch of whiners and complainers!...I thought NV was more open minded than this...we should welcome new comers of all styles and incomes....change and growth is and should always be a part of our 'hood and the City. Welcome!
Come on folks....Noe Valley residents should be proud that we are a neighborhood where people choose to live even though they certainly can afford to live somewhere else (like Pac Hts or Palo Alto?).
Neighborhood residents fought for remodeled parks, to keep and remodel our little library, to have clean sidewalks and a great grocery store and now people want to raise their children here. Whoppee..this is a good thing
Lemme guess...time for more breeding?
ReplyDeleteWell, at least SOMEBODY can afford a 4-bedroom house in my neighborhood. I sure can't.

ReplyDeleteUnless you just secured $100 million in the second round of funding.
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with the hostile jabs at this guy, all because he bought a (probably very nice) 4 bed/3bath here. Sounds like jealousy to me.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the hood.
