 497 VALLEY STREET - on the southeast corner of Valley and Castro Streets;Lot 030 in Assessor’s Block 6621 - Requests for Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application No. 2007.01.10.1441, proposing to construct a new three-story over basement, single-family dwelling in an RH-2 (Residential, House, Two-Family) District and a 40-X Height and Bulk District.

Preliminary Recommendation: Take Discretionary Review and approve the project with modifications.

    Hopefully this will get approved quickly. It's a great project by a talented architect. This promises to be MUCH better than the cheap suburban style mish-mash of houses thrown up just across the street from this lot.
